Lynn Robbins (Ingold)

Lynn Ann Ingold, 75, died early Thursday, April 9, 2026, with her family surrounding her. Lynn was born on July 14, 1950, in Pontiac, IL.

She fought a valiant battle with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease) for the past 4 years.

Lynn graduated from Paxton High School in 1968 and Illinois Cosmetology School in 1969. She worked as a beautician for 3 years, then excelled as a stay-at-home mom for many years. She then enjoyed 25 years as an assistant to dentist Dr. Russel Pitch, and she retired in 2016.

Lynn married Bill Ingold on October 10, 1970. He survives, as well as daughter, Leslie Ingold; son, Jeff (Jennie) Ingold; grandchildren, Lindsey (Mason) Maul, and Carter and Callie Ingold; mother-in-law, Carol Ingold; brother-in-law, Rick Ingold; Lynn’s brother, Charlie (Karen) Robbins; her sister, Pam (Mark) Lewis; and three nieces and one nephew.

The past few months were made easier with the caregiving of Brooke Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Edith Ann Robbins; father-in-law, Harold Ingold; and nephew, Kevin Robbins.

With Lynn, her goal was to make everyone feel better. She was a great storyteller and the perfect hostess for family gatherings.

Her family was her greatest achievement and she will be truly missed.
