Georgette and I were good friends during school and we wrote each other while she was in college in Kansas. We got together occassionally after college, but not very often.

Kris Ames Tuttle and I got someone to babysit for her little boys and my girls and we went to Georgette's funeral together. It was a large funeral because her students were there.

She was a beautiful, fun loving girl. I didn't know she was born about 2 months before me only 80 miles from where I was born and raised in Kansas.
