Wayne E. Abbott was born May 10, 1943 at Glenn's Ferry, Idaho to Dan J. & Beatrice Margaret  (MacPhail) Abbott. Wayne attended East Side Grade School, Payette Junior High & High Schools & graduated from Payette HIgh School in 1962.

Wayne enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1965 and was discharged in 1968, returning from Germany to Idaho. Wayne reinlisted in the Army in 1971, serving in Vietnam. He was discharged in 1978.

Wayne first married June M. Plush of Kuna on March 6, 1966 at Elko, NV. They had two children, Shannon and Pamela. June divorced Wayne at Boise on November 8, 1968, after they returned home. Next Wayne married Carmen Juliana Lozano on March 4, 1972 in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where they made their home. 

Wayne Elliot Abbott lived in Miami when he died at the young age of 45 on December 13, 1988 in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Wayne was survived by his wife Carmen and three children: Steven, Juliana and Pamela; two brothers: Eric S. and Gregory S. Abbott, and his father Dan J. Abbott. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother Beatrice M. McCool, and his older brother Dan Dwight Abbott, at age 37, on September 26, 1978, in Boise.

Wayne's final services were held in Nampa, Idaho. His grave marker can be viewed in the Garden of Communion section of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, Idaho.
