Who would have ever thought that a wild bunch like us' the way we use to be would be talking about the living GOD as if we truly know him? Well I'm so thankfull that I really do. I'm also thankfull that HE has always been by my side'even when I did"t have a clue where I was or who I was. I'm so glad that I have found HIM to be stronger than ever in my life as well as so many of my DEAREST FRIENDS!!! I wish all of ya'll a HAPPY NEW YEAR. And I mean it a bunch. With LOVE' C.W.W.

Yes Sherry. :D You are correct. So I can call you all "December Babies" haha...

Mrs. Favors...A great lady and teacher. She was always dressed to the "T" with matching accessories, and she was driving a Caddy to boot!! Classy lady, and great teacher. I remember her saying and it scared me to death: "Just because you black and just because you white don't make no difference to me." (Her words...let's just say that she taught History and not English." haha I believe we got the point without a doubt. She certainly taught and had control of her classroom. :D

I really like this website. It keeps us all in touch, but the downside of that is: It makes me miss you all even more.

CWW...oh yeah...What an honor to know Him! We are blessed to the max!!

Oh yeah...Shirley...I think Mark could have been Val of the class...he was smart enough...just didn't want it. hahaha OR he may have been like me..I wanted my Danny's Pizza and trips to the Waycross Mall or to the Burger Barn more than I wanted Honor Awards...For some reason that changed as I got older. I could to to the mall during classes in college and still do the grades. Well...Thank the Lord we do mature - it takes some of us longer than others. :D

I didn't know Jesus until I was 30, and that was when I went back to college too. haha...better late than never, huh? I still like to have fun and laugh more than anyone...you are mature old Charlton...but laughing keeps us young. Now when I saw you drive through Coochee with your "16" on your windows...I rolled with laughter. You are absolutely hilarious!!!! :D You need to get you some 22's man!!! That's whats up. :D

Good morning everyone! I definitely remember Ms. Favors and her stick. Shirley Rose, you remember playing that numbers game in her class? It was so long ago. :) It was fun and if I remember correctly , I think she always split us up and it was the boys against the girls a lot of times. I couldn't let my BOYSSSSSS down. Tammy, you are right also, school was the last thing I was thinking about. I was always thinking about football, right #24? I know what you're thinking and it wasn't girls, just football. :):) I still don't know of anyone that could hit any harder than Mr. Hazel in FFA. For some reason, it was Charlton and me getting it. As Mr. Hazel would say, "Are you instigating Mr. Gillis or Mr. Baxley?" Those were the days and boy was I black and blue from the initiation and only because Hal and Dougal were the initiators. I hope everyone has a great 2010.

Hello Friends,
Please be praying for our friend and dear 1979 family member, Amy T. Johns, was life-lighted to Savannah today to St. Joseph's Hospital after being diagnosed with a stroke. She is not able to talk, but can smile or frown. Her right side was damaged, but I don't know to what extent. I just know that we serve a mighty big God, and he is able when all is in one mind and one accord. Take time with me to go somewhere quiet and get on your knees in petition for Amy's complete health to be restored. While we are praying, let's stay longer and call our precious classmate, Pam J. Witherspoon's name out too. She is doing well, but I am sure she grows tired and weary, even though she doesn't show it at all. She always has a smile on her pretty face and is always doing something to bless others. We never know what the day holds for any one of us. Faith, Hope, and Love and the greatest of these is Love. That is God's word, and I believe it. He allowed a special love to be bonded between the class members of 1979. Thanks so much to all of you in advance for your prayers for Amy and Pam, and let's pray for each other on a regular basis just in general.
