Diane and I were among the lucky classmates who took a YMCA trip to the Bahamas the summer before our senior year. She loved the islands so much she moved there, married, worked as a librarian, and had two beautiful daughters. I last saw her when her daughters were in high school. I believe she died too young of cancer.
