Sarah Jane and I were next door neighbors. We spent a lot of time together and were very good friends. When August rolled around and we were bored waiting for school to start a bunch of us would play school. SJ was always the teacher. That was her avocation and I hope she made it her vocation.
As I remember, she liked to cook and bake. She always commented that I would show up when she was making cookies. It was just a coincidence but she was always happy to pass out of few of them.
I miss her and I miss her brother, Charlie. RIP Sarah and Chas.
