For those who didn't know, Chad and I were best friends since grade school. Our fathers were both stationed in Panama where we first met, Howard Elementary School. I remember Chad with his long golden brown hair, yes, long hair, glasses on his face and that sweet innocence we all had as children. We became friends instantly and remained friends ever since.
His death was tragic, unfortunate and unexpected. I was in Korea at the time and didn't find out until one year after his death. I just wanted the Weirsma family to know that Chad is not forgotten! I think of Chad and his family often. Chad was a good man and I hope that he knows that is memory is still alive! Chad, God bless you and may you be smiling on us from Heaven.
