Leann and I were high school friends. I recall her hearty laugh, and the fact that our conversations usually centered around boys. I spent time at her home (her mother had decorated their home in gorgeous, deep red tones -- so beautiful!), and Leann spent time at mine. We double-dated a couple times. We were friends for several years after graduation, but eventually our lives took different paths. Years later, my brother Dale, who worked at Hewlett Packard, advised me that Leann worked with him. I was hoping that Leann and I would reconnect at some point, but somehow we never did. You are missed, Leann. Rest In Peace
I remember Leann & we shared typing and shorthand classes together - she was a whiz!
Yes, we talked between classes, about boys mostly. I remember her as fun and smiling with a sense of humor. We were always trying to get tan quick (before tanning booths) and I remember she made some kind of homemade solution out of iodine and who knows what else (baby oil?) to get a fake tan. It kind of worked but the color was a little off. We had a lot of laughs & I always enjoyed her sense of humor. I always thought we would run into each other one day again, but we did not.
