Nancy and I met in junior high and became really close friends in our senior year at Petaluma High. Nancy had her daughter by then and she really showed how beautiful a Mothers love could be! After graduation I moved in with Nancy and husband Jerry, and shared expenses . Soon after, anancy introduced me to my future husband! She was right, he was perfect for me! Within the year Nancy and I were both expecting our first sons! Douglas and Jon were born a couple of months apart. My husband , Jim had two children under 4 when we married, and we had custody, so with my three and Namcys two we spent a lot of time together! At our 10 year reunion Nancy shared with me that she had breast cancer, just like the disease that took her Mother so young. I miss my friend so much. I often wonder about Nancy's children...
I am truly sorry to have found out that Nancy is no longer with us. What an incredible person...she was so good natured and always up beat and positive. I will remember her always for the brilliance, kindness and clarity whenever I talked to her.
