I met Harold's wife, Betty, at the banquet for our reunion on Friday night (September 4, 2009). She is a wonderfully sweet person, and knew my older sister and brothers---Rose, Jesse, and Charles Harold James. We sat next to each other and spoke of the "good ole days". She graduated from South Girard High School, but the reunion showed that we were all just one big happy family back then. I was only three years old in 1961 (the year Harold graduated, and two years before the high school closed). I knew all the names of the people mentioned at the reunion, or shown in the videos and pictures because of my older siblings, and my father, Lee "Perk" Perkins James. My dad was the school janitor and chaperoned all the games, dances, movies, skating, field trips, etc. I heard a lot of "I remember when you were born" during the entire weekend. If any one knows how to get in touch with Betty Arnold, please forward this to her. I am very much looking forward to 2014 and the 75th reunion!
