"Michael was diagnosed with Leukemia on December 23, 1991 at the age of 31. He had an autologist bone marrow transplant that did not work. He was in and out of the hospital for twenty months. I was scheduled to give my bone marrow to Michael but he relapsed in the chemo phase. At that time Michael knew there was no chance for survival so he went into hospice care at home and passed away on August 22, 1993 at the age of 33 surrounded by his family. He was married to Andrea Rosenfeld and had no children."
