I remember Paul when we were little ones, in our corner of 2&C where Covington Rd., Cheltenham Ave. and Mascher St. all came together. He was best friends with my brother. Paul was always over our house, and my brother was always at his house. Because of that friendship, his mom and my mom were great friends too. Paul was a gentle soul, and will be missed.
Paul was a good friend during our years growing up. Like Paul Quate, I too was introduced to the Philadephia Flyers by Paul. My first live Flyers game was 1968 at the Spectrum where the Caplans had center ice seats about 20 rows up from the ice. I haven't missed a season since, and I've been a season ticket holder since 1988. Thanks Paul; we miss you.

I loved Paul Caplan. We played together all day long!
Big Paul & Little Paul!
He took me to my first Flyers game. Turned me into a hockey nut!
We snuck into the Vet for the first ever Eagles game, we sat on the steps on the 50 yard line.
We did a zillion things together!
This is the first I've heard that Paul has passed.
My heart weeps today.
