I just found out that Jim had a bad accident and is no longer with us. He was such a sweet guy. He was my 5th grade boyfriend..... we will miss him at the reunion and I am so sad to hear this news.
I am so sad about this. In the 80's I used to attend the Beaux Arts Ball. At the one in the 30th Street Station, a handsome man in a tuxedo came up to me and asked if my name was Regina. When I replied that it was, he jumped up and down and said. "It's me, Jimmy Nardell". He told me about his job and I was so proud of him. I also have a note of thanks that he wrote me as an 8th grader. I have always treasured this and now I treasure it more.
Jimmy was a wonderful friend. I remember him as a compassionate and remarkable person. I was lucky to have been in many of his classes at Finletter. I will always think of Jimmy as one super guy:)
I'm so saddened and shocked to see Jimmy's name listed on the In Memory page. I have fond memories of Jimmy as he was often my teammate when playing wiffle ball in the driveway and football in the cul-de-sac. He was a bright young man who was always pleasant and courteous. He will certainly be missed.
