School Story:
This is an amazing site - I am remembering all sorts of things I didn't even know I forgot: Too Many mittens in first grade; Walking in snow drifts to the top of Fox Hill road, shoveling out piles of snow (does it even snow like that anymore); Wire ball until it was too dark to see; kickball in the cul-de-sac; riding our bikes all over the neighborhood from early morning until dark; Walking fast by the wall because I wasn't allowed to hang there; cutting through the apartments to get to school; learning to drive and barely making it up the hill on Claremont road in the winter; the ski trips Ellen organized when we were in high school; Iceskating Friday nights; So many Howard Johnson record hops; cutting high school and heading down to Samson street........Really missed the old neighborhood this halloween - no endless streams of kids with bags too heavy to carry.
