RE: Music Teacher Posted Tuesday, June 30, 2009 06:53 AM I remember Mrs. Cook who adopted Miss Zeccha who then became Miss Cook. Remember the drum recitals (paradiddle, paradiddle...?) |

RE: Music Teacher Posted Saturday, July 4, 2009 11:06 AM So many stories about Ms. Zecca, aka Cook. She is also reported to be the sister of Guy Williams aka ZORRO. ~ |

RE: Music Teacher Posted Tuesday, July 7, 2009 09:53 PM I had Miss Zecca for 3rd grade. She used to take the students into the cloak room and hit then with a ruler (not me). Had her again as Miss Cook for 6th grade. She had a better disposition then. |

RE: Music Teacher Posted Thursday, August 6, 2009 05:50 PM I remember Mrs. Cook's drum recitals...She taught all thirty kids how toplay the drums....then one by one, when someone made a mistake, she would give them a tamborine or the triangle to play instead. By the time performance came there were only five of us that lasted on the drums (which was the floor)and it was a GREAT HONOR! |
