Bruce Jacobson, 47, a vice president for Liz Claiborne, died of respiratory and kidney failure Monday at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, Monmouth County, after a long illness.
He had lived in Robbinsville, Mercer County, for the last 10 years and previously resided in Voorhees. Mr. Jacobson had been vice president of quality assurance for Liz Claiborne in North Bergen for 10 years. He attended Philadelphia Textile Institute.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Havertown, Mr. Jacobson graduated from Haverford High School in 1969.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Evelyn ''Evie'' Lotstein Jacobson; a son, Jeffrey; a daughter, Lauren; his parents, Gerald and Shirley Bormack Jacobson; and a brother, Brad.

Funeral services will be held at noon today at Platt Memorial Chapels Inc., 2001 Berlin Rd., Cherry Hill. Burial will be in Crescent Burial Park, Pennsauken.
