Ronnie was a fun classmate, and a great football teammate! I was looking forward to seeing him again at our reunion this year. Treasure the years that we all shared together in high school.
So sorry to hear about Ronald (Kenya Kenyatta) Reed...We had remained friends over the years, but I hadn't spoken to him in a year or so. He was for years a link to my Germantown history. I would always stop at Germantown and Johnson and talk to him (often, for hours) and inevitably, I would see five or six old friends riding by. To me, Ron was an icon...one man who stayed true to himself and never changed or conformed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Ronald was not only a classmate but he and Deitra were neighbors. I would see Ronald on Germantown Ave where he lived and have some enlightening conversations with him. His kind soft smile signified his character. I was looking forward to seeing him at the reunion. Unfortunately I was unable to attend to talk with Deitra. Rest in Peace My Brother... Ferb, (as he called me)
