Many Many years ago, I had a special friendship with Doristine when we were in Roosevelt together. She was like a "play girlfriend" if you will in Middle School. We were in the same class and even were named the cutest couple in the Roosevelt Yearbook with a very old photo attached. :-) I am saddened to know she is not with us anymore but I pray that she now is in a better place with God.
She was my BEST BEST BEST Girl Friend, we did everyting together, talked about everyting, she was my daughter's god mom. When I married and moved to New York "Governor's Island", I hear of her illness going to the worst, I went to see her before her passing and left back for New York, came back home (Philly) to see her and heard of the passing, "I was OUT OF MY MIND", Doris, me, David Morgan we used to walk around downtown in the Gallery, just before they re-structured it, I still have those pictures. REST IN PEACE DORIS, I LOVE YOU".
