And yesterday, a friend of mine from our Girl Scout days, Rhonda Snyderman Poore, passed away after a battle with thyroid cancer.  Rhonda was the most upbeat person I've ever met; she posted positive messages to Facebook daily, including on the day of her death.  Those of us who knew her well, will miss her always. She was kindness personified.
