I wasn't aware of any of the prior reunions' that took place, I surprisingly stumbled onto this one. I placed my name in a Yahoo search engine, just to see what would pop up. I was surprise when the search engine took me to Overbrook High. Now, this was a blast from the past and I never expected to see such a well constructed web page to represent our era. I have to give props to the designer. Hopefully this reunion can give me more area of travel as I reunite old relationships with my peers. In the military, sometimes you forget how old you are; you deal with so many generations that you forget which one you came from. When I saw 25th class reunion, I found out what generation I came from, reality is a rude awakening. I would like to thank, Terri Joelle Polk and Albert Chester for helping me to alter my decision to attend. I am looking forward to celebrating our "Class of 83" with all of you.

I was truly elated to see that someone wanted to continue carrying the torch. The first and last invitation to a "Brook" reunion was for the fifth year ,I could not attend. As I have stated in my profile( narrative), I really look forward to seeing everyone although some I know only by affiliation because we took some classes together, and others as we passed one another in the halls. Although, Cynthia Chavis, Margo Outten, and Patricia Dupree help create some fond memories. Down through the years, the last individuals I stumbled acrossed either at work ,church ,or by fate were:Patricia Dupree, Stacey Lunsford ,Joyce Mansfield, Allison Hatchett ,and Shelly Harmon, Dwayne King, Cynthia Chavis and Margo Outten.However, I haven't seen most in years. There are some individuals I had traveled with from elementary, middle, and high school:Patricia Dupree, Dewayne King, and afar: Gayle Stewart, Ronnie Nixon, and Alan Clark. I pray the best for us all. I hope life has given enough sweet days of sugar so that when the lemons came rolling in you could make lemonade. I am blessed and encouraged! Respectfully, Robin Muldor

IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO SEE SO MANY AND CATCH UP ON ALL THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON IN OUR LIVES SINCE 1983. I plan on attending and like many others, this is the 1st one I have gotten wind of before the reunion actually occurs. I still keep in touch with Tawanda Lott, Anita McKlaine, Retta Nelson, Sharhonda Warrington, and Elise Pegram. I talked to Lisa Ransom yesterday and she plans on attending. I was straight tripping off the "Back in the Day" section. So many fond memories. The graduation pictures also had me cracking up. Everything was well planned and superbly executed. Your passion for pulling this together was, evident down to smallest detail. Also, thank you to your family for their support while you working on this project. Everyone looked great and was radiant with positive energy. 11/02/08 08:11 AM #30     David Barksdale Hey everyone, I really tried to come and make the best of the reunion, and I hope that no one got offended by me? I didn't mention that I am a songwriter and have several web pages which my music is on, with 7 songs to my credit and only having the time to perform 1 song...I made the wrong choice for performing that night, it should have been a slow song. I got up there and wiggled my hips, jirated my butt, and it was a bit too provacative for Joclyn. Being cut short was very imbarrasing, she said I could perform again but it didn't happen, it's cool sweety I still love you! But somehow I am left with this empty humiliation, and feel that I ended up looking stupid. With all my heart I just wanted to perform for you guys, but at least you saw a little bit of me shaking my ass...I still got it! Anyway the rest of the night was great! Seeing all of you was so wonderful I wish I could just do it all over again. Ladys I must say that each and every one of you looked absolutly superb, in some way I wanted to find love that night, but Y'all just look so good I said to myself "I don't know where to start" so from then on I just had fun! Please go to myspace.com and search for me in the music section, my stage name is "The Sweet Uncle Prince!" I really want you to know how good of a songwriter I have become, and would love to hear what you think about my music? God bless all of you for coming, and I hope that you had a safe return home.
