Richard Wambach Obituary

Richard Wambach of Hatboro passed away, on March 5, 2026 peacefully at home. At the age of 88. He was the devoted husband of the late Adelaide Wambach (Schuch) with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. He was born in Philadelphia the son of the late John Wambach and Ruth Wambach (Greison).

After graduating from Mastbaum High School he joined the Navy. Following his honorable discharge, Rich and a childhood friend opened C&W Texaco in Warminster, where he dedicated 45 years to repairing vehicles before retiring. Rich enjoyed the outdoors and loved golfing, fishing, snowmobiling, and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his family. He was a member of Reilly Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps, and W.K. Bray-Southampton Masonic Lodge #410. He will be remembered as a wonderful dad, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Rich is survived by, three daughters, Nancy Schlauer and her husband Albert, of Hatboro, Susan Paulin of Colorado, and Janet McKale of North Carolina, grandchildren, Jessica Campbell (David), AJ Schlauer (Cait), Mark Paulin (Anna), Kim Neal-Farris (Javier), Jillian McKale, Rachael Tiziana (Michael), Amy Toney (Steve) and 15 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, March 13th after 10:00 am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and to attend his Masonic service at 11:00 am followed by his Funeral Service at 11:20 am. His interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Masonic Village – Warminster (Treat Fund), 850 Norristown Road, Warminster PA 18974.
