I first met Bill in 3rd grade at Finletter,  Bill, John Hamilton, and I were close thru grade school and Olney.  I will always remenber Bill's house, because his father built a complete fall out shelter in their basement.  That was cool.  When we graduated Olney, Bill was going into the Navy and John was going into the Air Force.   I droved all three of us to the graduating party, but on the way there, Bill lifted a bottle of booze and we were all arrested and taken to the police station.  I had no idea he had the bottle, but it was an experience I will never forget.  They called our parents and we all paid $37 and lost the bottle to the police.   Always a lot of fun.
