Rush Limbaugh said that sometimes it was necessary to have a War to allow the two sides to adjust between themselves. People were aghast at his Temerity in expressing such a position and because he was a Conservator, he was also branded a Warmonger. This didn't seem to bother Rush in the least, He understood that as much as we all like Peace to reign amongst Earth's inhabitants, somehow, somewhere, at any time there are going to be people who have huge differences. They settle them by elimination of the opposition. That is what the ever mild, standard for the "Reasonable Man"  Putin was attempting to do when he casually gathered Troops on the Borders of the Ukraine in Feb. 2022 to March into Ukraine and claim it for what he considered Ukraine to rightfully be since the Times of Catherine the Great, I think it ticks off on History of the World around 1784. So he attempted ot invade Kyiv, but alas it did not work, the  Pesky Ukrainians weren't going to cooperate, and over 30 days later, when hundreds of  thousands of rounds were fired, thousands of Russian young men were dead, he said "It was all a Feint, I was actually going for Dombas" Right then and there is when all the Peace Lovers should have stepped in and said We are going to supply Ukraine with Weapons, Ammunition, Fighter Jets, Bombs, Missiles, Nukes, and whatever else it would take for Ukraine to win.

We {the Universal We} did not do that, so many dead people later, babies, Familys, men, women, old people, etc. since have died.

Putin is a Mod Dog Killer, Rabid, devoid of any evidence of a Truth Bone. You cannot make a "Deal" with him. BUT we can still say and do, what would bring a stop to the War. Give Ukraine what they need to perform an All Out Win. The USA should not be  allowed to send any more weapons, ammunition, money, etc. the American Public doesn't want it, we Shouldn't do it, Ukraine, with the help  of others voluntarily Will Win. Let others take the Credit for Helping. Ukraine is already willing to Pay Us Back, in Full and should be allowed to do so. Putin hopefully will be a dark smudge in the Pavement soon, and the whole World can celebrate Ukraine's Victory. We should allow it to progress unimpeded by our Govenment.

Michael, I agree and pray it will happen.  It won't be easy!

Today, Butch and Sundance (Suni) are coming home from the worst Gilligan's Island Tour (to the ISS) ever.  Regardless of your political persuasion, please say a little prayer that Elon Musk can bring them back safely.

Elon Musk said that he offered to bring back the two astronauts last summer but the Biden administration refused, and Elon thinks it was a political decision based on his support of Trump.  It's interesting that Scott Kelly (Az Senator Mark Kelly's twin brother) said politics had nothing to do with the two astronauts having to stay on the space station.

It looks like Tesla owners and dealerships are being attacked and firebombed.  I wonder why and by whom?  OH.....I'm sure it's those radical Republicans, right?  When will eyes be opened?

Hello all, back from traveling a bit. Catching up on a few posts. Goodbye Earl, I'm a bit surprised that you possibly thought you would change minds on politics on a forum, or maybe facebook or any other social media. These are places to express opinions and feelings, I doubt anyone has changed a Biden voter to a Trump supporter or visa versa. Michael, if you have not read Trumps book Art of the Deal, please do so. I've followed Trump for 50 years. He is a deal maker for sure. He has a motive pretty much for every thing he does. I think he will succeed in bringing some peace to Ukraine and stop the killing and destruction. So according to Scott Kelly, the two astronauts were not stranded, they could have come home anytime, there was an uber waiting at the space station. Such bullshit. Mark Kelly is a total embaressment to Arizona and such a hypocrite. Sold his Tesla because his feelings are hurt and brought a gas guzzler because I guess climate change is now over. Voted to get rid of the filibuster but then tried using it to stop the vote. Federal liberal judges for some reason now think they run the exective branch of government. So many of these idiots in DC have never once created a job outside of government, never produced anything other than paperwork, never made a payroll or taken a risk. And they want to run the country, which is in my opinion a major reason the country is in the shape it currently is in. Elon will make some mistakes, we'll throw a few babies out with the bathwater but I'm hoping they correct those mistakes. This is a major undertaking and they have two years to do the task. All above is my opinion only and certainly have enjoyed seeing the perspective of all of you. No ones opinion is wrong, just like everyone's definition of success is perfect for them.

Good posts Jim and Lester.  Talking about activists judges.  One has blocked Trump's block on Transvestites in the Military.  The judge will definitely lose this one.  The Military is not a Democracy.  It is a Dictatorship and the President is the Dictator.  Or "Commander in Chief" as you may have heard.  Lester I logged in to post the same thing about Mark Kelly.  I guess he is literally and figuratively a "Space Cadet"?

I will be attending Erine Apodaca Jr's Celebration of Life, this Friday (21 March), at Spokes-on-Southern, from 12:30p to3:30p.

Then another celebration of life that evening for an old friend for the past thirty years plus.

   >>These celebrations are becoming more frequent<<

Bill.  I'm sure Ernie's family will appreciate your attendance.  Our condolences to the family and to you for the loss of your dear friend.  Jim & Julie

(opinion)

I have to admit that I have become somewhat confused about the separation of powers in our government. Our government's Administrative, legislative, and judicial branches operate separately. Perhaps our resident attorney, Michael Kelly, can shed some light on this. If the administrative branch cannot tell the legislative branch what to do and the legislative branch cannot tell the judicial branch what to do, How can a rogue district judge tell the President what he can and cannot do? How can he tell a sitting President he cannot do his constitutional duty? This far-left ideology is trying its best to bring Trump and this country down. This is more than just TDS. This is downright hatred for Trump and his efforts to keep our country the constitutional republic our founders created.

It's official, I now have TDS. I'm making an appointment with the VA to see if I qualify for disability due to my TDS. You see, I am now having nightmares because of my TDS. Please understand, I am a huge supporter of Donald Trump, but him putting Elon in charge of rooting out the waste and kickbacks has been the total cause of my TDS. If Trump had not put Elon in charge, I would not have this case of TDS. You see, my TDS it Tesla Derangement Syndrome. I own a Tesla and now I'm afraid of attacks by deranged left wing idiots. (not really afraid but I'm packing my glock these days). What do you guys think? Can I qualify for some sort of government funded support from all these attacks on Tesla owners?

03/20/25 12:25 PM #14829

DeWitt Bacon

Lester, that's a good point. If I owned a Tesla, I would have TDS as well. Isn't it strange how, under Biden, the Democrats praised and cheered on electric cars, but now that Trump is President, they set out to burn and destroy them? But it's like I posted a while back: 'Democrats do what Democrats do.' Would you expect less? It's just like the liberal Marxist judges. They let Biden get away with anything but try to derail President Trump for doing his constitutional duty.

It's not about a political party. It's all about our country!

Michael, not to worry. I'll start with a non lethal Byrna shot. Should disable most people but if they are still coming, a 9mm hollow point should do the trick. I just hope I can get my TDS under control. I'm so confused, as DeWitt says, just a year ago, they loved Elon and electric cars. But good to know climate change is over since our moron Senator just bought a gas guzzler to replace his Tesla. He seems to be doing everything he can to make himself relevant and in the media. Think he has presidential aspirations? Another liberal who never created a job outside government, never had to make a payroll.

Les of Lester, (which do you prefer?) The good news is that if you actually go to the VA to check on you dilemma, your Tesla will probably be safe now in that parking lot.  I'm hoping that the vast majority of the Independent Voters are watching these morons setting fire and shooting at Teslas, protesting for Hamas while harassing and threatening Jewish students, supporting men playing girls/womens sports and the other insanity that's going on in Our Country.  Not only has Mark Kelly never created a job, he has also always been a Government worker!

Not to be outdone, I'm suffering from DDS.  NO!  I'm not an anti-Dentite (to quote Kramer on Seinfield).  I am not against dentists. I'm suffering from Democrat Derangement Syndrome.  I'm becoming an anti-Democrat generalist.  I know some democrats are good people, but they keep voting for the idiots on the left that are causing the most damage to the country and re-electing them.

The biggest mystery to me are the Jews who register and vote for democrats.  There appears to be a lot of them.  I'll never understand that.

AMERICA FIRST!!

P.S.  I drive a big, white Tahoe Z71.  Got mine 11 months ago.  Know what I had before that??  Four Tahoes over the years.

Bill RIHS

When Joey was the President I said "just when you think it can't get worse", now we know those in charge were really doing what the vast majority of democrats wanted. You just can't make this stuff up. I hope they keep their deranged words and actions going so we can destroy them at the '26 election. Jim, I am joining you in having DDS.

Yesterday on the News I saw that the Fed. Govt. had done a Study back in 2023 and they found that Liquid Natural Gas was a completely non-pollutant and had a highly effective Energy Generational Profile. Biden didn't like it, and he knew the implications it would make for our Natural Fuel Industry as far as profits were concerned, and it was during this time that Russia was making Billions off their Natural Gas Resources, So Biden did what Democrats always do, always, always, Do,. He put the Quoetus on the Study, and it never reached the Light of Day, unitl this last Week. Europe could have used this bought from us, instead of Putin, so what is the Democrats Excuse? They won't ever even discuss it.

In this Education Department conversation there's something I haven't heard mentioned.  While I agree that the student scholastic numbers are terrible, one of the things never mentioned when comparing to other countries is simply the structure of how students are educated.  I'm not sure about China but the Scandinavian Countries have a system where they move students into different study programs based on the students strengths.  For example a student might be more inclined towards being a skilled worker rather than going to college.  I don't even know if we have Industrial Arts education any more in High Schools.  Another problem we have here in America is that we allow many non-citizens in our schools who come in not speaking English.  Swedens schools suffered for a number of years when they took in 10's of thousands of Syrians.  Teachers have an extremely difficult job already without having to try to teach bi-lingually!!

03/21/25 11:39 AM #14837

Michael Kelly

DeWitt you have raised the question that asks what the Separation of Powers Doctrine concerns. The Founders,(the Gentlemen whose Statues are under Attack) were concerned when they conceived of the Structure of the Governing Branches of this Nation, in studiously avoiding the Concentration of Powers in any one Branch of the organizational Structures of our Nation. They knew that we would need a Nation governed by Laws and thus a Branch that would fairly Adjudicate disputes that would inevitably arise between individuals citizens of the Nation, the Judicial Branch was thereby empowered with the,Authority to apply Law to settle such disputes. Simultaneous thereto their Vision was fixed on Branches with co-equal Power with no one Branch having undue influence over any other. Thus an Executive Branch was created to Enforce the Laws, and Administer the Authority that came with the Administration of the Law to seek avoidance of heavy handed application of the Law. Certain areas of this Administrative authority gave the Senior Executive and Appointees exclusive authority, in Federal Jurisdiction, Authority over Immigration Law. In reference to this area, see the cases of Obama vs Joe Arpaio, back in the 90-s The Legislative Branch was created to express the Will of the People, both on a short term grassroots level expression of a contemporaneous need via regulation, or Freedom therefore, and a more further vision education expression of the overall need for Order. Thus we have the House and the Senate. PART 1 NEXT PART TWO

Good info Michael.  The Founders also referenced, "Balance of Power".  I would like to see a lower court judge have to go the Supreme Court before having the power to put an injunction against the Executive Branch.  I bet this Bullshit would stop because the lower court judge would know he would get slapped down!!

Frank, I go by Les or Lester, either one. I never knew DDS was a syndrome but now that Jim has pointed this out, I have suffered with this even longer than TDS. My 100% disability allowance should be a shoo in. That's about $4k a month tax free. Never been on the government tit before, I think I'll like it. lol. Over the years, I've had many Tahoes and Escalades and loved them all. But I do like not going to the gas station and having a car full of fuel every morning. Best thing about a Tesla if you live in Phoenix, is when I go out for lunch or shopping, etc in the summer, I can either start the AC 15 minutes before I plan to go to my car or just leave the AC running. It takes very little battery power to run the AC and I get into a 75 degree cooled vehicle. That plus the full self driving is a winner. But I also have 3 gas burning vehicles, one that gets 12 mpg and burns premium fuel only. That vehicle automaticlly steers into every gas station. Remember when Joe shut down the pipeline right at the beginning of his term, he told pipeline workers they can just get another job. Ok, federal workers being let go, just get another job.

Go to YouTube and find "WOKE NO MORE" and listen.  It nailed it in the first few lines.

I heard this recently and have adopted it for me:  "Once you hit a certain age you become permanently unimpressed by a lot of shit."

And finally:  "To applaud a politician because he has built a hospital, a school, road etc. with public money is the same thing as applauding an ATM because it gives you your money."  Yep.  There you go.

Did you see the guy on TV today who was released by the Taliban?  Know what he said?  "Thank you President Trump."  Deeds NOT words.

Lester.  I'll try to call you Les (not more - hah!).  OK....seriously....I'll try to call you Les if that's what you prefer as long as you don't call me James.  My kid likes to be called James and he's not James III.  Different middle name.

I have a tendency to ascribe nicknames to friends (Mike Kelly is Lefty).  I've known Lefty over 65 years.  But I'll wait until the reunion.  I can't believe it, but we've never met.

Les, The difference between the pipeline workers and the government workers is that the pipeline workers were way more qualified.
