Yes, I do hope and pray that Haras is really going to disband, and give up all Weapons, and Finally Agree that Jews and Israel have a Right to  Live free of Fear of Harm and Genocide. I am just now hearing that Trump did not win the Nobel Peace Prize, a Woman named Machado won it. Everybody knew that Trump had no chance of winning the Nobel Peace Prize, TDS rieigns supreme smongst Libs and so called Moderates.

John Kennedy is a one-of-a-kind orator with his folksy Louisiana style of speaking. I would suggest that everyone get the audio version. John narrates it himself, and listening to him speak the words cracks me up.

Kennedy's book is a masterpiece.  One thing I totally agree with him on is that he proposed a Bill that "able bodied adults on welfare who have no minor children should be required to work at least 20 hours a week".  He couldn't even get 60 Senators out of 100 to support that idea.  I would bet that 80% of the American people would make that a requirement.

Frank W.  I believe at one time that Newt Gingrich, who was Speaker of the House, created enough priessure on the Democrats and on President Billy Boy Clinton to actually do to Welfare Recipients what you think needs to happen again, call for Legilslation to make it mandatory that recipients work during the Week a minimum of twenty hours in order to still receive benefits, and that all benefits terminate after a certain period of time, and I believe it was limited to one year and the benefits automatically shut off. I know of at least one person who actually lives their life doing exactly that so that they can collect benefits on a somewhat continuous basis. 

CNN is on a campaign to "save Letitiia James": from the provisions of Federal Law that make it a Crime to Lie about borrowing money to purchase whatever and use your house as Security for the Loan, when you own two homes already, and I believe you then borrow at Commercial Rates, ratner than a Homeowner Interest rates, and apparently James borrowed and got the lower interest Rates, rather than admitting that the second Home she owned, was not a "Second Home": but rather, she was in the Landlord/Tenant business which would have required the Loan she took to be at the Commercial Borrower Rate. That is called Fraud, and the Proof is there against her. CNN is saying "Well everybody does it" to excuse poor Little ?????? Letitiia James, affectionately called the Haystack Borrowing Technique named apropos after Letitiia. Next, My Reasoning as to why the Fraud definition that was applied to President Donald J. Trump under the expanded Version of New York Law, must necessarily apply to Letitia James to make her Guilty of Fraud in this Recent Criminal Case where She will be indicted for Fraud under Federal Law. GAZA CEASEFIRE AND PEACE INITIATIVE

I believe the Trump Administration has done a wonderful job getting this horrific event "settled."  HOWEVER....I have some disturbing predictions and personal observations.

1.  Israel will NOT get 20 living hostages back.  I think the number will be less....maybe far less.

2.  HAMAS will lie and delay on every one of Trump's 20-point plan.  What then??

3.  Here's a big one:  HAMAS will NOT surrender their "arms."  This will not happen and if they do make a gesture of doing so, who will confirm??  Israel...USA...a Muslim Country such as Egypt??  Where has Egypt, et al been for the past 2 years?

4.  As part of the "deal", Israel has to ONCE AGAIN release an extremely disproportionate number of criminals/terrorists (some say 2,000 ) for 48 Israeli hostages...dead or alive.  What do you think those criminals will do once they are released to WHO....HAMAS??  Where will HAMAS be located?  I'm not clear on that.  Aren't "WE" of the mind that HAMAS needs to CEASE to exist if peace is to be maintained??

5.  HAMAS will reconstitute as a terrorist organization and they will create havoc.

6.  HAMAS cannot be allowed to have any part of governing GAZA....but I think they will at the tip of their bayonets.  Who will stop them??

7.  IF everything goes as "planned" and the Good Guys win, where will electric power...water...sewer systems, stores to obtain food come from for the 2,000,000+ Gazans/Palestinians (whatever that is)?  What about temporary housing?  These things will not spontaneously generate.

I could continue, but you get the idea of where I stand.  I'll end with this opinion:

You CANNOT negotiate with a rabid animal.  The results will always be the same...DEVASTATION for one party.

GOD HELP US AND THE ISRAELIS!!  AMERICA FIRST!!

Coats et. al.  I agree with your predictions Jim about the Gaza Peace Plan. One thing I consider more important than any other point, is the Written Statement that Israel, and Israelis are recognized as a people and land entitled to Exist, without threat of Extermination.Another thing is I would implant every one of  the Hamas hostages that Israel has with the same exploding implant that was placed in their Cellphones and I would implant it right above C2 in the Cervical Area of the Neck. I don't Trust Hamas, never will, and they think we are Fools. So a neck implant will keep them honest with us "Fools" I would also let them know that any  movement politically by Hamas will be recognized as an Act of War and I would give the Israelis the Weapons and other capabllities to use Nukes on Hamas. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I would just want to give the Lord a smaller number to use his Vengeace upon.

A side comment. I went to another football game in Tucson yesterday. I saw a gas station selling regular gas at $2.85 and here in Phoenix it ranges from $3.70 to $3.80. I have not heard anyone explain why😤

Thank God!!  The Hostages are back!  So why did the Peace negotiations happen in Egypt?  My Wife and I were in Egypt in April.  The main Mosque is in Cairo.  Within easy walking distance from the Mosque is a Christian Church (which is the first Christian Church ever built in Egypt 2,000 years ago), and also a Synagogue.  Although Egypt is predominantly Muslim they respect other religions.

Additionally, why Egypt--Remember, The very first Peace Deal in the Middle East between the Israelis and Arabs was with President of Egypt Anwar Sadat and Israel.  It cost Anwar Sadat his life at the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood.

It was with great elation that I saw the living hostages being released. The photos I saw suggest they were in good health. I wonder, though, about the delay in releasing the dead hostages. They say they don't know where they all are. Or perhaps they have been so mutilated that they are afraid to release them. Nothing is beyond what those lying bastards will do.

 My expectations have been exceeded and Donald J. Trump is due Congratulations for helping to  engineer this 20 part Peace Plan with Israel, and Irans Proxies. I hope that along with the 20 Parts of the Plan, there is specifically a Provision that calls for the Signatures of Each Country acknowledging that the people of Israel, and the Country of Israel have a Right to Exist in Peace, and are  Recognited as having the Right to Their Own Homeland.  Then I will feel that it is Truly a Well Made and Executed Treaty.

Do you realize that it was Easier for Trump and his backers to get a Peace Deal off the ground with Hamas et. al. than it is for the Republicans to get the Democrats to keep the USA Government even with a 20 page Agreement to leave things running just the way they are with a Deadline. That tells you something about Democrats, and it is not something that is any Good or to be Bragged about.

To some here who expressed displeasure with Trump talking too much about himself, bragging, or 'bloviating', I think he deserved to do some of that after the Hamas and Israel peace deal, which has brought all 20 living hostages home and, so far, 4 of the dead hostages. He has acknowledged all those who helped in making this possible. Not just himself. And of course, Biden put his own deranged idea in that he made it possible. Oh well, Joe. Go sit on the beach nd watch the sane people walk by.

There have been a lot of great guitar players in our lifetime. I always admired Chet Atkins and his finger-picking style. I even learned to play some in his style. Damn artritus. I wish I could still do it.

The News seems to indicate that the Peace Deal has Fallen through, and Netanyahu has ordered IDF to annihilate Hamas. That's probably practically speaking the most expedient, money saving thing to do. The Whole World has had to bear the Extra Costs of dealing with a bunch of Radical Moslims, whose big bone to pick with the World is that there are still Jews left in it and that tney have their own damned Country on top of it. My Word to iran and all their lilttle Sycophants is GET OVER IT. I know in saying this, may will be outraged that I have been so Blunt and certainly I don't give a Damn about a bunch of Moslems ruffled Feathers. 

What it boils down to is this, Way back when Abraham had a barren Wife named Sarah, God told him "Abraham" that he was going to have a boy with Sarah, she was 90 years old but back them people lived longer, because the Pharmaceutical Companiies didn't exist yet so that they could pump us all full of bad stuff to eat through the Food Companies they also owned, that's why we have Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Now, but thats another story, anyway, Sarah laughted at God because she was 90 and she knew damn well she couldn't have a Kid, but Abe was getting edgy and so she told her handmaiden Hagar, get with Abe and give him a Kid, so Hagar did and his name was name wias Ishmael. Then darn the timing, Sarah got pregnant and so the  two women got Jealous. One of the women had to go, so God said Abe, Hagar has to go, so he took Her, and Ishmael and left them under a Tree out in the middle of the Sahara Desert, lucky there were no Divorce Courts back then, anyway, God gave Hagar and her son Ishmael a Promise, and it was that there Peoples would be as numerous as the Sands of trhe Sea. Nowadays, they are also called Semites and considered as descendants of Abraham, just like the Descendants of Isaac are, who was the Son of Sarah, and considered the Promised Son of Abraham according to God. Why? Mike Did you Bring this Up???? Because all the arguments that exist nowadays between the Semitic Peoples who are not Jews, and the Semitic Peoples who are Jews, is the Right of the Jews to exist as a :People, with their own Country, and the Semitic People who are not Jews, is the Right of Jews to Exist on the Face of the Earth. 

Hamas, being Moslems, are anti=Jews and want them exterminated. Remember Yasser Arafat, and how he was presented with the promise of the Palestinians woud have their own Country IF THEY WOULD TAKE OUT OF THEIR CONSTITUTION THE PROVISIION THAT JEWS HAD NO RIGHT TO EXIST. 

THIS IS THE SAME REASON THAT HAMAS WILL NOW NOTGIVE UP THEIR WEAPONS, AND THE FIGHTING WILL CONTINUE, BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO RECOGNIZE THE JEWS AND ISRAEL AS HAVING THE RIGHT TO  EXIST. HOW DOES THE MOSLEM FAITH GET IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THIS. WELL, THE MOSLEMS, AT LEAST THE RADICAL ONES, STILL BELIEVE JEWS SHOULDN'T  EXKST, BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY THEIR GOD DEMANDS TOTAL OBEDIENCE, INCLUDING ERADICATION OF ANY PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN A DIFFERENT GOD, WHICH GOD TO THE JEWS IS YESHUA (HOPE  I GOT THE SPELLING RIGHT)  AND THAT MOSLEM GOD CANNOT TOLERATE ANY COMPETITION.

ON THE OTHER HAND, YESHUA, STATES THAT HE IS THE ONE TRUE GOD, BUT HE DOESN'T DEMAND THAT CHRISTIANS AND JEWS GO OUT AND SYSTEMATICALLY KILL ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN A DIFFERENT GOD. So there you have it, that is my understanding about what are the moving Forces behind all the Turmoil in the Middle East. This is why I know that there will never ever be a "Two State Solution" because the Ishmaelites don't want one, and so that is that. It is also why Yasser  Arafat turned down at least two separate Agreements recognizing Israels, and the Jews having the Right to Exist, and Live in Peace in Israel. 

Im glad Trump gave it a Try, and he came closer than his predecessors who tried to appease the Ishmaelites, mostly by giving them money, which they used to buy weapons to Kill Jews with. 

I really don't have any Genetic background to cause me to know anything about all this, I am Irish, and everyone knows God invented Whiskey to keep them out of Trouble and mostly at home in the Auld Country.

Good synopsis Mike.  I still believe that there's a chance for peace.  Almost all the Arab countries showed up in Egypt except Iran.  Iran (Hamas) now basically has no friends.  The radical Muslims which are led by the Muslim brotherhood were the ones responsible for "The Arab Spring".  Many of the Arab countries watched what happened and didn't like it.  I mentioned that my Wife and I were in Egypt last Spring and our tour guide who is Muslim explained that the Muslim brotherhood took Egypt over during the Arab Spring and ran it for about two years until the Egyptians revolted and threw them out of power.  Even now the Egyptians have very visible heavy security in many places including Hotels where Westerners stay and especially Airports.  Going into Airports (which we did 4 times while in country) there were armored vehicles with .50 caliber machine guns and soldiers in full battle gear (flak jackets and helmets) carrying AK-47's or AR-15's and the security is there to prevent problems from the Muslim brotherhood.  The way the brotherhood gained control of Egypt was through the Mosques.  Now there are Egyptian Government spys in the Mosques to monitor what's being preached.  Our guide explained that the moderate Muslims and predominantly moderate Muslim countries outnumber the Radicals at least 3-1, want peace and to co-exist with Israel.

That is Hope that the Peaceful Resolution is able to be followed to a successful Conclusion despite the  current News rel Hamas. I saw a replay of a CNN townhall with Bernie and AOC (the Odd Couple) in which the moderator asked AOC if illegals should get free healthcare (which is paid for by U.S. taxpayers so it's not free) and she answered she thinks healthcare is a human right.
