I remember when Biden first took office in 2021 he stopped the Construction on the  Keystone Pipeline which would have brought Fossil Fuels from Western Canada across the USA to Texas. The oilfields were those in the Western Canadian lands of the Cree Indians, who have plenteous supplies of Oil that would have made gasoline very inexpensive. Biden also began selling off enormous amoints of the Strategic Oil Reserves which Trump had purchased for a Price of about 42 dollars per 33 gallons of Oil, and now to restore it, we will have to purchase Oil at right around 120 dollars per 33 Gallon Barrel. The Democrats are now complaining about Trump destroying our oil Reserves and his extinguishing the Iranian Threat has increased the Cost at the Pump for Americans.

Demicrats are the most accomplished in the Entire Western Hemosphere in the Political Games of fact manipulation, but lest I say things in too polite a manner, Democrats are just outright Liars. Furthermore, they have an addiction to taking Facts that to a Sane Person, are incontrovertible, and twisting them so much that you wonder what planet they live on.

Right Now, they are criticizing Trump for not having Formulated, and Broadcast for all the World to See, and Read, what they call an "Exit Strategy" I guess that was what Biden did in leaving Afghanistan. You get a stick about 24 inches long, and you get a Rectangle of White Cloth About 10 inches by 18 inches, and you Staple it to your Stick, and wave it around when you are Ready to  Leave Iran. I don't have any "Truck" with people like that as my Okie Grandad would say.

We're getting ripped off by the Gas Stations.  The millions of gallons that are in their giant tanks were bought from the refiners at the lower prices BEFORE the war started!!  BUT, as soon as the war started they gouged us by jacking up the price of that gas they purchased at the pre-war prices.  Today is Friday the 13th.  Some trivia---Every month that has a Friday the 13th starts on a Sunday.  (You can thank me later)

It is reported that the newly appointed Ayatollah, Mojtaba Khamenei, is now seriously injured and possibly disfigured. I was just wondering, what would you do if you were told you were the new Ayatollah? I know what I would do. I would shave my beard, disguise myself, and  RUN!

Gasoline here in Rogers is still holding at just below $3 but rising slowly. I believe much of the variation in gas prices across states is due to taxes. President Trump has said he may tap the strategic oil reserve to put fuel on the market to help curb rising prices. Although  I support the war efforts in Iran, I am against this. It reminds me of when Biden drained the supply to help hide his inflationary decisions. I believe that we, as patriots, owe it to our country to try to curb our gasoline usage for the duration of the war. Remember that our oil reserves are for emergencies and our military. I remember my parents telling me about the gas rationing during WWII. I do not think that such drastic actions will be necessary during this conflict, but I do think we should conserve. This is my opinion only, and I respect others' opinions.

Lifting Russian oil embargo.  Europeans told to suck it up when pointing out that the embargo would hurt them much more than the US.  I understand how lifting the embargo helps the President, but how does it help the United States?

Gas prices in Phoenix are now hitting about $4.50 a gallon. You would think fuel suppliers would do everything possible to keep prices down, because higher prices drive inflation and hurt the current administration with voters. If voters swing back toward Democrats, the petroleum industry will likely face even more pressure and regulation. It just doesn’t make much sense.

Fortunately, we own a Tesla, and my total “fuel” cost for the past year — electricity — has been about $156.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a Cybertruck after taking one for a test drive. The latest version of Full Self Driving was incredibly accurate and reliable, which convinced me to take the plunge.

Is it ugly? Absolutely. But sitting inside, you don’t see the outside… and the technology is pretty amazing.Tell it where you want to go, press a blue button on the screen, put your hands on your lap and sit back and enjoy the ride.

According  to sources the price of a gallon of gasoline in Downtown Los Angeles is now over Eight Dollars a Gallon, in fact it is approaching 9 Dollars a Gallon. I can rememver when the Folks who favored the banning of Fossil Fuels altogether relished such an Event. So here's a taste of what that would be like,.You do have the Benefit of having much more Reassurance that you will not have to live with the possibility of being blown to Smithereens by an Iranian Nuclear Intercontinental Ballistic Missile due to our incredible Armed Forces.

Dr. Rainwater.  I'm sure you're dying to tell us the answer to your question posed in #15911.  Why don't you go ahead and enlighten uswink.

Mr. Coats.  (apparently we use last names and titles when addressing folks across the aisle).  What I see is a selfish move to hopefully achieve modest political gain but that strategically harms the country and our long-time allies (my opinion).  I offered the opportunity for folks who follow the news and other viewpoints more closely to help me understand if my perception is off-base.

Thanks to Les Cox for his research concerning the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Los Angeles County whch is currently priced at $5.39 per gallon. Some information from "Boots on the Ground" has clarified exactly what Trump has done concerning  his alleged Suspension of Sanctions on Russian Gasoline. It is not a permanent Suspension, and it  is limited to Russia's Dark Fleet of Tankers which are at Sea for deliveries to India and after those deliveries are done, the Sanctions are back in Place. .

Dr. Rainwater.  Lifting the embargo for a short time will benefit India who...which...(never could get that straight) at least for the time being is our ALLY and they need the oil to run their Climate Killing Country**.  The embargo will go back when Trump feels it's the right time.  IMO.

**Thought I'd throw that in for the Climate Change Crowd.

It makes one wonder, that allowing Russia to sell oil to India, and to who else, no one knows. That Russia will use these new funds to manufacture more armaments to use against Ukraine ! Trump has refused numerous times, Ukraines requests for more lethal missiles, and better aircrafts to fight their war against  Russia. I wonder what opinion one might conclude from this ?............

Michael W. The way Trump and his boy Vance seem to have almost no concern for Ukraine, it seems as if they have little, if any Concern for the ultimate Freedom of Ukrainians. On that Point, on FOX NEWS Mark Levine read a Speech given by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, given by FDR at one of his Fireside Chats, Dec. 29, 1940, which is Apropos to the opposition Democrats had to involvement in,WW II. Almost 12 months later. Levine says the FDR Statement applies to,our involvement with Iran now, and I think its relevant to Russia vs Ukraine.

It's amazing what is going on in Our World and Our Country.  I believe it's going to come out positively.  Let's start in the 60's.  We all remember the Cuban/Russian Crisis.  Well, Cuba is now in crisis and has no way to dictate their trigectory.  Russia can't do anything because they are locked into a War in Ukraine.  Venezuela has moved as a threat on the "Chess Board" to a very probable ally.  They have been a dangerous nuisance to Our Country for at least 20 years.  Ro Khana (democrat from California) said that Iran couldn't strike us with a nuclear weapon, SO they were no threat.  He's FULL of SHIT.  Iran could put a Nuc on one of their Drones, on a ship and get it close enough to drop a Nuc on New York City.  Nucs would be way more powerful than ever before and much smaller and lighter.  You may ask, "Is this operation worth it?", and be thinking about what's happening as far as rising prices.  Can you imagine what would happen to our economy if Iran dropped a Nuclear Weapon on NYC.  (I.E. after 9/11). These crazy leaders in Iran would do it because they think all their terrorists who have died are in heaven.  They are not, for awhile a "Clear and Present Danger", but don't underestimate them.  We reverse engineered their Drones and are producing and using them now.  The Iranians back in history were the Persians.  (I.E. The Persian Gulf). The Persians created the Board Game----Chess.

I just keep thinking about the Book of Revelation in the Bible. I run it through my mind about how clsoe we are getting to having some radical "Religious Zealot" whose managed to acquire a Nuke from a Russian General so that the General can move elsewhere wirth his newly acquired cash, and the Zealot doing as Frank describes happening and it only takes one Nuke.

We are stumbling around missing all the Eggs so far, but how many Zealots got across the Border from 2020 to 2024 ?  Weve been so damned accomodating with them also. Now we are shortchanging in Wages the people directly in Charge of Keeping Nukes outside our borders. it's Stupid.

Great Beer Summit last evening. I thought I'd share a few sites that maybe we talked a bit about. For a good unbiased recap daily, I use a site called 1440. They got their name from the year the printing press was invented or about that year. It is totally free. Join1440.com. Good recap daily. Another news source I really like is Ground.news. They give you various sides to many stories and the ratings of the article. I think I pay about $30 a year for this one. For you car buffs, www.BringATrailer.com. It's an auction site and amazing how much money there is in the world, I've seen cars go for 2 plus million dollars. Let me know what you all think.

Today the Japanese Prime Minister visited the White House.  In the open question session by the Press a Japanese journalist asked President Trump why he kept the secret about Our attack on Iran from Japan.  Trump observed that the Japanese were masters at secrecy.  And then asked the reporter why the Japanese kept the secret about the attack on Pearl Harbor.
