Robert Clarence “Bob” Ewald, 22, a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corps, died on June 18, 1968. Robert’s death was a non-hostile, ground casualty in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. His name is in row 19 of panel 56W of the Vietnam Memorial. He had been in Vietnam since February 20, 1968 and had been a Marine 2 years.
