Andrea passed away in August of 1993... Such a sad day... she was an amazing human being... I remember her holding my son who was born a few months prior to her death. She will always be remembered... Love Ya Girlfriend.
We were close friends early in H.S. Spent many of days in her back yard in the pool....I do miss and remember great times together....was shocked when Patrick sent me a letter of her timing....LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU CHICK
Did some time by Andrea's pool too (junior year) with Johnny and Justine. I had heard a rumor that she had been taken in a car accident but didn't really believe it. I have a picture of a group of us taken at a school dance; I'll try to find it and post it here. I guess the worst part is that she was so young... missed out on so much!
Andrea was in an auto accident with her boyfriend. It was horrible, but I rejoice that I had the privelge of knowing her and spending time with her. I have posted a picture on my web page of us. Johnie Burrow (Blum)
Andrea was such a fun person to be around. There was something about her that made you smile whenever she was around. I can remember being in a bad mood and out of nowhere Andrea would make a goofy remark that would just have me busting up outloud. I remember acting crazy at some of the school dances, at lunch, and cracking jokes in class. I was in Illinois in the hospital giving birth to my daughter when I got a call from Leesa Denny who relayed the sad news of Andrea's passing.
Andrea was called home at such a young age, but I know she is up there in heaven, smiling, with her beautiful wings spread wide, having a good time, cracking jokes, probably making some of the other Angels fall off of their clouds......
Andrea was one of my best friends.. many days by the pool... many vacations...matching outfits... many road trips to dance clubs in Tempe in the volvo..lol ... silly teenagers..lol.. the only regret i have is I left phoenix for a couple years and didnt return till about a month before she passed ...i missed out on so much... her funneral was very bitter sweet... nice to see old friends and her parents (whom i love dearly) yet such a sad time. Her mom knew i just found out i was pregnant and had such wonderful things to say . god i miss them all . ((hugs)) to my best friend.. im sure she is looking down at each of us.. shaking her head and laughin at all our mistakes and all our fun wishing she could be here.
