Robert Acevedo

We lost Robert in 2007 due to a motorcycle accident. 

He is survived by his wife April & son Sinjin. 

Robert also served time in the military and served in Iraq. 

You are in our thoughts.

Robert Troy Acevedo, 36, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 12, 2007. Visitation will be Thursday 10/18/07 5-8 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N 59th Avenue, Glendale. Funeral Services will be Friday at the Glendale Stake Center, 8602 N. 31 Ave., 10:00 AM.

I was not particularly close to Robert throughout high school, but I had several classes with him. I knew two things about him that defined him as a friend to me:

1. I could always count on him to be a respectful person.
2. He never seemed to care who he talked to, whomever he was speaking to at the moment was his friend.

It is a bit surprising that even people you only briefly meet can impact you forever.

Robert was a good guy and was a friendly person all throughout school. I am not surprised that he served our country because he was a real standup kind of guy and the fact that he was a purple heart recipient speaks volumes about his character......
