BAND MEMORY:
Kenneth Molnar, our new Band Director at the time, had a bit of a lisp. After the band completed a practice formation drill including trombone "head chops", Molnar would stop us and scream in his bullhorn, "That SCHUCKS! - Do it again!"
Over the years, I've learned to appreciate the music our symphonic and marching bands played. Just this year I heard another high school band play a number of pieces we played in the 70's.
