Diane Delander

After SHS I graduated from Glendale Comm. College & ASU, with a BA in Voice Performance. Since then I've worked in the entertainment industry, teaching private voice & songwriting (also workshops/critiques). Several songs won awards, and a few have been published & placed (TV; radio; film). In the late '80's I formed a professional caroling group, The Christmas Choralaires, which I continue to direct, perform in, and book (also various singers for weddings). I've also done some local acting in commercials and movies, the last one being "Take Me Home Tonight" (I was a "shopper" in the convenience store, & my grey '86 Toyota was even used in the background on Camelback Road).
Currently I have openings for new students at Rising Star Vocal Studio, located in my home, still in Sunnyslope! I also am a marketing rep (part-time) for 2 companies: Legal Shield (have had a membership several years; now certified to sell the plans, family and small business), and Plexus Worldwide (all natural weight loss, wellness, and pain relief products). I keep busy!

My fond musical memories include performing with the Sunnyslope Singers, even "cutting a record" (vynal!), which I still have, in fact, and singing an original song for the first time for two school assemblies.
I also recall fun activities with the Spanish & Science clubs. One highlight was a field trip to see a rock actually brought back from the moon!
