Corky was a great friend to many at West High, & we had some great times running around in his car (the blue b****). That car needed more oil than gas, but never broke down on Corky. Losing Corky in 1998 was a blow to his family & friends, we all thought that he could beat cancer if anyone could. Corky at 6'4" was a giant of a man, but a gentle giant. I will never forget one important lesson learned from my best friend, to always remember that life was a journey of discovery--& to always carry extra oil in your trunk.
