62, of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 19, 2016. Scottie was born Jan 12, 1954 in Phoenix, AZ. She passed away due to a sudden onset of AML Leukemia. Attended Madison #2, Graduated from Camelback High School 1972, received an AA in Interior Design. Worked several years for the AZ Blood Bank. Scottie's hobbies were Antiquing and Asian Art. Most important in her life were her two girls. Scottie was loved by many and will be missed. Preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Roger and Helene Swenning, brother Michael Swenning, sisters Shannon (Tom) Hussey and Tracy Hogin. 
Survived by her Life Partner David Lynch, children Ariel and Mandy (Mike), grandchildren Myles and Isla Hegstad, sisters Kelli McIlvain, Megan O'Donnell, ex husband Steve Abelein, brother in law Dexter Hogin, niece Katie (Vinnie) Molina, Dusty Lovejoy, nephews Matt (Lori) Hussey, Ryan Hussey, Mike McIlvain, cousins Midge Brooks Petersen, Beverly (Pat) Burke and many other cousins, great nieces and nephews. Services are at 10 am on Sat. 2/27/16 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7655 E. Main St. Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Interment will be held immediately after at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008. Donations can be made to your favorite charily. Abelein, Mary Scott "Scottie"

Prayers are with her family.  I remember Scottie and her sister lived up the street from me when we went to Madison#2.  So sorry to hear about Scottie.
