Sorry but Linda did not die of a drug overdose.  She had medical problems with siezures.  Her death occured when she experienced a siezure, aspirated and being unable to breath, expired.

In 1978 she did have a manager who opened a gallery in Scottsdale.  As she told me, that manager made more money that did she.

Linda was also married once and is survived by a daughter.

Linda was one of the kindest and quiet soft spoken girl I have ever known. She was also the most talented. Her and her fathers works at Arizona Highways are legend. I do not know or care how she died, but Tommy would surely know. Jim Hart

It is true that Linda was alone at the time of her death.  She was not however without friends, love and hope.  After connecting at the 30 year reunion I learned Linda' life had fallen on tough times.  She tole me how the gallery was of little benefit to her.  She had a manager who took advantage of her financially.  She was also plagued with health issues.  Linda was excited to be building a new porfolio of her art which we would have presented  for publication as a way of providing her support beyond the disability she was receiving.  My Wife Lorraine and I brought Linda to Los Angeles and took her to Universal Studios.  We had a great time and were glad to be again connected a friends.  The time between the reunion and her death had joy and purpose for Linda.  She surely deserved it. Below is one of Linda's final water colors.  Thanks for the comment Jim, I never knew it was so obvious.

Thanks for posting this picture!  It is amazing and so thoughtful of you to share it.  I don't think I had many classes with Linda but I definitely recognized her picture.  It sounds like she was fortunate she had you and your wife in her life!
