Bob was a good friend all the way through high school. He had a great sense of humor and the funniest laugh. he drove around in an old beetle that didn't have a radio antena, so he used a wire hanger which allowed for about 60% reception. at red lights, he'd ask whoever was riding shotgun to get out and move the hanger around.

The "In Memory" page is hard to read, and seeing Bob on the list is one of hardest for me. He was a good friend. When I got a car he was one of three guys whom I drove home almost every day. His sense of humor was ever present and boundless. He pulled a great prank on me. He told me that he had arranged a date for me with Lindy Stearman. He was absolute convincing. I had to chose which horn of embarrassment to gore myself upon - to call her and find out it was not true, or to not call her and find out it was true. I called. It wasn't true. Lindy's good natured response relieved me of my embarrassment. That call, however, lead to several dates with Lindy in the future. So, if I never said it, "Thank you, Bob."😊
