Mark Thomas Welling, 66, of Phoenix, AZ passed into heaven on April 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Welling as well as his brother, Brian Welling. Mark is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Bench, Kristen Hopkins and Janet Bryant. Mark had 11 grandchildren. Mark was a true Vietnam Army Hero. He received a Silver Star, two Bronze Medals, two Purple Hearts and many more awards from his 6 years of service to his country.

Mark was a Meadows guy. I'm sorry to see we lost him but am intrigued by the picture in his obituary. It's the only time I've seen Mark's face without a smile.

Sad to see this. I went to Meadows with Mark, but never knew him very well. Still, I wonder if he was a casualty of the Viet Nam War.It's a rare person who returned without major health problems. May his memory be a blessing. (I am not Jewish, but I love that sentiment.)
