Edna Ester Romero (Saenz)

Edna Ester (Romero) Saenz passed away with her family by her side on July 6, 2004 from pulmonary and other medical problems. Edna is preceded in death by her father, Joe Romero and brothers, Mark and Joey Romero. Edna is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Saenz, Sr., sons, Robert Saenz, Jr., Alejandro Saenz, daughter, Marcia Ann Saenz, mother, Genevieve Romero, sister, Priscilla Romero, granddaughters, Alexis and Aaliyah and grandson, Remy Saenz. Edna was born in Phoenix on August 3, 1950. She was 53 years old and graduated from St. Mary's High School, the class of '68.

She worked in the late 60's as an operator for Mountain Bell and worked as a mail carrier for the post office before her injury that left her paralyzed for the last 20 years. Edna was a person that people, as well as her family enjoyed talking to. She always left a lasting impression on people. Some people liked her, some people even loved her, they all cared and respected her. She was a great mother, a wonderful wife, a good friend. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
