Rosary for Vernon Francis Thomas, 19, who had been a cook for a year at Helsing's Coffee Shop and for the past six months at Jack's Coffeee Shop, will be at 8 p.m. today in Whitney and Murphy Chapel, 330 N. Second Avenue.

Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 6045 S Central.  Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetary.

Mr. Thomas, 6216 S. First Ave. was killed Wednesday in an automobile accident on Cave Creek Road near Pinnacle Peak.  Born in Phoenix, he attended St. Catherine Grade School and St. Mary's HIgh School and was a member of the Knights of the Altar at St. Catherine.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Thomas, two brothers, Michael and Gary; three sisters, Mary, Cecelia, Veronica; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jabino Olivo, all of Phoenix and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Thomas of Shelby, Nebraska.
