Mary Ellen, it breaks my heart to know of your passing. I have known you since first grade at St. Matthew's Elementary in 1955. You were always kind, cheerful and brilliant. Always willing to lend a helping hand, you were seriously funny in your assessment of things...to be  followed with laughter.  That never changed. God bless you and yours, Mary Ellen... sigh.
