It was suggested in the last blast that we possibly consider a reunion with other classes. The Class of '71 is interested in taking this approach with our class but only our class. The '71 organizing committee was not interested in a multi-year reunion because it identified with the Class of 72 most strongly based on our football team's and other sports' successes in 1970-71. Ken Schacherbauer is leading the Class of 71 organizing committee.

Ken stated in a call to Ron Forward the '71 organizing committee was wanting to know who our class organizing leader is. We still need someone to step up to take on this role! They are meeting April 29, at a location TBD. If we are indeed interested in a combined reunion, we need to have decision-making representation there.

The '71 organizing committee is leaning toward an informal reunion. Ken said they are considering Talking Stick Resort (site of our 40th,) The Grand Resort, or another similar venue. He said they are open to other ideas as well.

Finally, Ken said the '71 committee preferred the reunion in 2021. However, because a lot of places are already booked for the year he felt Spring of 2022 was more feasible and would enable our reunion to be held in our 50th year.

Please reply back to this email if you would like a combined reunion with the Class of '71, or go it on our own. Also, if your heart is tugging at you to step up and lead our reunion, then please identify yourself!
