We were best friends all throughout grade school and high school. In grade school, there were so many Marys, so we also went by our middle names. We lived down the street from each other went everywhere together. n high school, we cruised Central, played Frisbee in the park, floated down the river, etc. She drove a VW bus. She liked nice clothes. I was out of state when she passed at the age of 24. I wrote a poem about her and our adventures.
