Julie was diagnosed with a pituitary brain tumor Sophomore year of high school. The tumor stunted her growth and delayed her development. She underwent brain surgery and missed quite a bit of school. The tumor was removed, but over the next 10-15 years, the tumor came back. Julie opted out of any further surgery and passed away from hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain) on August 15, 1990.
Rest in peace, Julie.
