            Barry W. Alford, 59, of Makawao, Maui, a retired Maui Police Department officer, died at home. He was born in New Mexico. He is survived by sons Brett, Sean and Barry; stepdaughter Deborah "Debbie" Lamanna; mother Trudy; brother Lee; sisters Janet Sproles, Karen Moran, Trudy Rogers and Marla Alford; and six grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Kahului Baptist Church. Call after 10 a.m.
