Leo E. Carlin, 61, born in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on May 3rd after a short illness.  He was a warm, easy going and generous soul loved by many. Leo worked as a mechanic for much of his life although he had many interests. He loved Hawaii, San Diego, the desert, southwestern art, travel, but most of all, time spent with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Vivian and Phillip Carlin and his brother Phil. In memory of Leo, a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Amano Bistro, at 1541 E Baseline Road, Phoenix on Saturday, May 21st, from 1200 to 3pm.
