Bruce Bosley

Bruce Bosley, 74, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024. Bruce was born in St. Ignatius, Montana. In 1957, his family moved to Tucson, Arizona, then later Phoenix, where he graduated from Washington High School in 1968. After high school, Bruce was drafted into the Army where he served as a crew chief and door gunner on a Huey helicopter in Vietnam. Bruce was a self-taught architect, and in the early 1970’s, he passed the state board exams on his first attempt. He became well-known for his work on commercial buildings such as grocery stores, medical offices, and retail spaces including the JCPenney at Superstition Springs Mall in Mesa, Arizona.

Bruce’s lifelong hobby of cars started off with a 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon and taking autos class in high school. He bought and sold more than 100 vehicles, and he liked to make them go fast. Being a hotrodder at heart, he loved to rebuild cars in his garage. Bruce was also a member of the Arizona Cobras car club where he enjoyed trips, car shows, cruising Route 66 and the Coronado Trail, and camaraderie with other car enthusiasts.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Browning and Georgina (Jean) Marie Bosley. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne Bosley, son, John Bosley, brothers, Daryl Bosley (Ginger) and Clyde Bosley (Teresa), and sister, Beverly Madden (John).
