I remember Bobby as a quiet and reserved guy. Always pleasant to be around.

One summer in college the best job I could get it seems was as a janitor in the Western Electric plant in west Phoenix. Bobby was working there in an assembly job or something, and he thought it was pretty amusing to see me pushing a cart while he was making bigger bucks. (Just one of many incidents I've managed to repress unitl now.) Bobby was a very good guy. I wonder what ever became of his (our) Maryland School buddies, Richard Hernandez, Damaso Garcia, and Jimmy Chavarria (my first Spanish teachers).
