Rebecca Jo Chafin, 25, who was graduated from Washington High School, Glendale Community College and Arizona State University, died Sunday, July 4, 1976 of injuries from an auto accident in Poulsbo, Washington caused by a drunk driver. 

Miss Chafin, 3342 W. McLellan, came to Phoenix 18 years ago with her family and was a member of St. Simon & Jude Cathedral parish.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Chafin; a sister, Sally Ann Dooley; grandparents, Mrs. Charles Chafin and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sparacio, one uncle and one niece.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, where friends may call after noon today.
