So sorry to see that you've left this place. Sounds like you used your time here wisely. We will all be meeting up with you in the future, and are expecting you to host the next 1969 reunion. Rest well, have a great time and know you will be missed.
Your bud,

It was tough learning of Richard's passing. We grew up to gather in the same neighborhood, hung out together with Ron, Jim and Floyd. Had a lot of good times with him, also crazy times too. Richard could come up with some pretty goofy things to do. In high school he worked as a busboy at Bob's Big Boy at Bethany and 19th. We would go there and cause him much grief! Not sure but he might of even cooked there. Richard would call every now and then just to talk. I think the last time I talked to him, he wanted me to come over to San Francisco for a Grateful Dead concert, he kept telling me I was an old dead head, told him I never was, more into the Doors. Wish now I had considered it a little more seriously. Lots of good stories with Richard in Boy Scouts, still makes me laugh thinking about them even today, glad I knew Richard, good part of my life!
Rest in peace Richard

Thank you for sharing your stories Mark!! Richard was always so nice to me. Even years after graduation he would leave me a FB message! Here are pictures that his friend, Richard Tyson posted on Legacy.
