Steve was a great friend and more. We were roomates at ASU freshman year and shared a house for 3 years. Those who knew "Mommy Dearest" Freida knew it was amazing that Steve turned out so fine. I remember his car, the Lil' Cooner and so many trips (both good and bad). We partitioned off a room so our buddy Al Cornell (and later TOM McLEAN) had a place. I miss Tom and Steve all the time. I remember Freida hysterically demanding to know why the "underground movies" in Tempe had to be "underground" as we drove away from her, laughing cruelly at her disconnect with 60's culture. We were bad ones.
That is hilarious. Seee all the things we all "didn't" know about each other? For some reason, I can't imagine you guys in the principles office. Oh yes, I know the principles office.
