Of those in my small group of close High School friends, we all loved Vicki.  She was fun to be with, had an engaging smile and boundless energy.  Through a lot of hard work she was a gifted athlete.  I remember fondly double dates.  Just being associated with Vicki gave one status.  She changed my life for good.  For those that would like to visit and pay respects, Vicki was cremated and her final resting place is a niche at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mausoleum, 2300 W. Van Buren St., Phoenix (I-17 and Van Buren St.) South Inside Corridor, Columbarium South, from the lower left up 14 rows, niche 1.

I hunted wild hogs near Red Bluff, CA a few years ago with Vicki's brother Jay. I could never bring myself to ask him questions about Vicki. I just knew it was not the time or place to do so. But, I could see Vicki in his eyes and some of his actions. Strange feelings, but good feelings about Vicki surrounded me all during the hunt. "Rest in Peace" S.C.

Steve you should ask.  He will let you know if he can't or doesn't want to talk about her. Sometimes that's what he needs. Rest in Peace beautiful lady.

Vicki was one of my best friends from fifth grade on. We went to dance class together, spent week-ends at each others houses and Vicki went on many of my family vacations. I have memories of sleeping on the Phillips pull out couch in the living room with her cat "Missy Blue" walking on the top of the couch waiting to pounce. She always would you just never knew when. During college we drifted apart and had an occasional lunch now and then. I am so sorry that happened. I heard about her death several months after it happened and was never able to pay my respects. Vicki was talented, funny and a good friend to me for many years. I will remember her always.

This Reunion and the website has reacquainted friends sharing stories and experiences with each other - so  many of those memories have involved friends lost  and on 10/22/14, Steve Combs and Dan Morris visited Vicki at the Greenwood Memory Lawn Mauseleum.

Pictures of Vickie taken in 1976 at Cheryl & my wedding. She's dancing with George Dierken who attended West H.S. but most people thought he went to WHS. Vicki was one of the most beautiful & artistic people I have ever known. I always cherished her friendship. My mother led Vicki to the Lord before she passed & I know I will see her again.
