Wilma Kay Bender, 81 of Phoenix, passed away on Spetember, 16 2014. Wilma spent 27 years educating youth as a teacher with Glendale Union High School District, most of that time at Washington High School.

After retirement, she filled her life with activity, including volunteer work at Interfaith Ministries, and extensive local and international travel. Wilma "Kay" also enjoyed having "lunch with the girls".

She was preceded in death by her husbands Clarence Romine & Dick Bender, and her sisters Alma (Bob) Davy, and Virginia (Chet) Morris. She is survived by her children; Craig Romine, Donna (Roger) Simons, and Mark Bender, and her grandchildren; Christopher Simons, Abi (Travis) Goodrich, and Jennifer Bender.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 25 at Christ Church of the Ascension, 4015 E Lincoln Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253
